Whether they live in our homes or in the wild, Subaru is committed to keeping all animals safe and healthy.

A partner since 2008, Subaru has donated over $28 million to the ASPCA and through Subaru Loves Pets has helped support the rescue, transport, adoption and well-being of over 230,000 animals across the country.

Loving the environment means more than loving the great outdoors. It means working to preserve it.

Since 2018, Subaru has partnered with TerraCycle.  Participating Subaru retailers collect hard-to-recycle trash that was headed to local landfills. We collect approximately 2 tons of this hard-to-recycle trash monthly, which will be converted to furnishings and other usable items and donated locally.

It’s our goal to make the pursuit of knowledge available to as many minds as possible.

Since 2015 Subaru, in partnership with the American Association for the Advancement Science, donated over 277,600 award-winning science books.  In addition, through our partnerships with Staples and Adoptaclassroom.org we supported teachers and students with donations of S400,000 in gift cards and school supplies.

In a perfect world, hunger would be history and hope would be commonplace. We believe a perfect world is possible.

In 2020, Subaru and its retailers made a donation to Feeding America to provide 50 million meals to help feed people in need during the COVID-19 crisis,* making meals available at 199 local food banks across the country.
*$1 helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America on behalf of local member food banks.

We should all have a chance to lead a healthy life. We’re aiming to give as many people that chance as we can.

Since 2016, Subaru and its retailers have partnered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to donate over 167,000 blankets and 21,500 arts & crafts kits and reached nearly 150,000 patients in more than 780 hospitals nationwide.

Napleton's Schaumburg + Alexian Brothers 07-23-19  –  Michelle M

On Tuesday, July 23rd, the Illinois chapter of LLS and Napleton Schaumburg Subaru had the pleasure of delivering 80 blankets and craft kits to Amita Health Alexian Brothers Medical Center as part of the Subaru Loves To Care program. These comforting gifts were accompanied by personalized messages of hope written by the customers and staff of Napleton Schaumburg Subaru.Chris Napleton, General Manager of Napleton Schaumburg Subaru personally delivered all the gifts to the hospital. It was the fourth year of the LLS-Subaru partnership. The incredible act of generosity was warmly received by the nursing staff who were excited to distribute these comforting gifts to their patients. LLS is proud to partner with Subaru to spread hope, love and warmth to those fighting cancer, across the country and right here in the Elk Grove Village, Illinois community. Many thanks to everyone at Napleton Subaru and Amita Health Alexian Brothers Medical Center for supporting LLS’s mission to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

You Made My Day!  –  Sue W

Subaru Loves to Care, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, healthcare partners, and LLS volunteers are truly bringing light to the darkness of cancer. On July 24 we had the opportunity to visit Amita Health Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. The visit was extra special because we were able to meet with patients, offer words of encouragement, and deliver cozy Subaru blankets to keep the patients warm during treatment. We know that fighting cancer is often difficult and overwhelming, but we also know that showing compassion and love can relieve those burdens. This visit was a true statement about the love and compassion that is out in the world. Not only did we have the Subaru team and hospital team on hand to support the blanket deliveries, but we also had LLS volunteers, Maura & Teagan. What makes Maura and Teagan so special - they have fought cancer and now volunteer to support LLS and patients. Teagan was diagnosed at a young age and Maura is her mother. They are a true testament to the statement "Never Give Up!" Chris Napleton and Teagan visited with the many patients, shared stories, and delivered blankets with messages of hope. Teagan supplied that hope in person. As a survivor and thriver, she allowed the patients to see there is hope for getting through treatment and great things are possible for the future. The patients and families were truly touched by the generosity of Subaru! They laughed, they cried, and they were overcome with joy! One patient exclaimed, "you made my day". Subaru truly does care! Subaru Loves to Care! Thank you, Chris Napleton and team!

Subaru Loves to Care 2017 Stroger  –  Kate K

It was great to see Chris again at a 2nd delivery, as Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru chose to deliver blankets and craft kits to 2 different hospitals. Stroger had the Chief of Staff there for the picture and to accept the delivery, as well as other top administrators. It was an honor as an LLS employee to be a part of this!

Subaru Loves to Care - Rush Univ  –  Kate K

I was so honored as an LLS employee to be a part of the delivery of blankets and craft kits from Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru to Rush University Medical Center on 7/19/17. Chris Napleton talked to us about how charitable Subaru is and how much he loves working there. The Rush employees were top knotch.

Decent morning turned into a Great Morning!!!  –  Mim B

I started my morning with coming early and having to wait to get into the Service Department because it wasn't yet opened... Great, huh! So, I figured it would go downhill from there... boy was I wrong. I was greeted by Jeff Ginsburg who was awesome!!!! He showed me how to do something I didn't know how to do and told me I knew stuff other people, men, didn't know how to do, LOL. So, my morning started to get brighter. No offense to you guys... Just saying. And, then I got free coffee, boy did I need that and then Stephanie, the Subaru Greeter... another awesome person came and chatted with me for a little while... my morning was great! I even went into the kids room which was a wall to wall chalk board -- how cool is that? -- and had some fun drawing on the wall... What a great morning!!! Awesome people at an awesome dealership and the work was finished before I knew it! Thank you Napleton's for making my service experience great!!!!! (NO, I don't work at Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru - I just had an awesome experience, which I haven't had at other dealerships is all.)
