Very happy with my experience purchasing my first Subaru from Chris Napleton at Napleton’s Subaru in Schaumburg. Recommended by a friend with 50+ years in the automotive industry, Napleton’s Subaru Schaumburg made everything as easy as possible after my previous car got totaled in a storm. It was worth the schlep from the city to be treated well. I knew what I wanted and got a great price with no pressure for an upsell. David Fitzmaurice was professional and informative and respectful of my time and also made the effort to clean the car and fill the gas himself to save me some time. Alex stepped in just before I drove off to troubleshoot connecting my phone to the car when it didn’t happen as easily as usual. It wasn’t a major issue but definitely saved the day so I’d be all connected for my long Friday afternoon drive back to Chicago. Buying a car is a huge and by stressful process, and I appreciate the many ways that Chris Napleton’s Subaru made it easier and smoother for me to make a big life decision with no regrets.

Great customer service and great communication

Ask for Luke. He is very professional and will help find the perfect car for you. He is NOT your average pushy car salesman trying to make a quick buck and get you out the door. He is polite and takes time to get you a good deal. The location is easy to find, in a nice modern buiding. Showroon is small, not overwhelming and looks clean. Overall, i had a pretty good experience buying a new car at Subaru Schaumburg.

Alex, Steven and Joshua were all outstanding! They made sure to get the easiest deal done for us and make the experience go as smooth as possible

I want to start off with saying that I'm not particularly fond of car shopping and dealing with car salesmen. I went into this place just wanting to see what an outback drove like. I was met at the front by Zach L. He was able to help me right away. I felt a good vibe from him. Not a typical salesperson- someone who listened to me and didn't cross the line of pressuring and fun to talk to. He had ample knowledge of the cars and I think we hit it off quite well! I met Stephen too who was very professional and easy to talk to as well. The experience brought me back a week later to negotiate pricing and I was pleasantly surprised again with how dedicated they were to helping me. They were thorough and kind. I enjoyed spending time with Zach finding the perfect outback for me and my budget. Nothing felt forced or confusing. When I met with the finance lady, Debbie and her adorable pup- we as well hit it off. She was extremely thorough and just understanding of my situation. I left with a new Outback and zero buyers remorse! Enjoyed the whole process with this awesome group of people. Please don't get rid of them or let them leave- in fact make sure they are happy and they are getting paid what they deserve always! I will recommend to everyone. I will not ever want to deal with anyone else with car stuff but the people of this place. All of them had good energy and that is sooo rare to find. It was a fast efficient process. As I had just purchased a new car from another dealership in the past few months the experience with Napleton Subaru was a pleasure!!!! by comparison. After chuckling from Josh’s jokes and signing on the dotted line, David F. gave me a tour of the service dept., waiting room, coffee bar ect. . I had driven my “other” car to the dealership so David delivered my new Outback Touring XT to my house. Premiere concierge service. 😊

I find the folks the people at this dealership borderline rude specially when it comes to pricing and disagreement on the things they push you to buy. The sales rep was pretty much dismissive of any pricing discussion without offering a polite explanation. They offered an accessory for 3 times the price than listed in Subaru website. Finance manager spent an hour to explain the services/warranty plan for my new car and after I declined politely few times during the process, manager was visibly upset and use words like stupid for not buying the extended warranty plan they offered which according to them is the “cheapest” price. As a customer, I expected a better experience but felt intimidated throughout.

Everyone we worked with in sales and finance was great. They were able to make a great deal happen for me within my time constraints. The salesman, John went out of his way to make sure we understood all the features in our new Crosstrek. This is an exceptional dealership.

We bought both a brand-new vehicle and a used one, and the experience was fantastic. Ryan and the sales team went above and beyond—helpful, patient, and thorough every step of the way. Referred by a colleague, I’d happily recommend this place to my friends and family who are car shopping.

Got me in the same day and had parts in stock. Did the repair correctly and sent me on my way a little while later.

Had my first service experience with this dealership and they were by far the most friendly Subaru dealer I have been too. The service was also exceptionally quick while being very detailed. Highly recommend!

I went here to look at the Outback options. Alex Hernandez was my sales contact and he was spectacular. He took the time to show me all of the model and trim options and answered all of my many questions. The test drives were great as well. The experience couldn’t have been any better. Unfortunately, it all fell apart when it came time to talk about pricing. I was quoted the full sticker price. What?? I’ve bought several cars and the price negotiation always started with the dealer coming off the sticker price, if only by a little bit. While waiting for their revised offer I emailed another dealer for an internet quote. They came back with $7,000 under sticker. After showing that to Schaumburg sales team, they offered a middle price and finally said they would match the other dealers price if I agreed to buy right then. I declined, saying I wanted to reward the dealer who stepped up with aggressive pricing. I ended up buying that afternoon from the dealer with the internet quote. Their price was valid and the buying experience was relaxed and easy. With Schaumburg starting at list and then trying to match another dealer’s price made me wonder what the maintenance service would be like. Do yourself a favor and shop several dealers.
