Schaumburg Subaru Drives Hope For Children Fighting Brain Cancer - Gracie B
In 2025, Napletons Schaumburg Subaru continued its commitment to the Violet Foundation for Pediatric Brain Canceran organization inspired by the brave life of Violet and dedicated to saving children diagnosed with brain tumors. During May, Pediatric Brain Cancer Awareness Month, and again in October, in honor of Violets 7th birthday, the dealership donated for every vehicle sold and every oil change performed. Through these two fundraising months, Napletons Schaumburg Subaru generated over $22,000 to support life-saving research and provide direct assistance to families facing a diagnosis. To date, the Violet Foundation has supported more than 200 families, offering average grants of $2,000 to help ease the financial strain of treatment. Napletons Schaumburg Subaru further strengthened its support by sponsoring the 3rd Annual Violets Walk in the Park, where the Foundation announced an unprecedented $1 million commitment to bring focused ultrasound technology to Lurie Childrens Hospitalmaking it only the fourth pediatric hospital in the nation with this groundbreaking capability. The dealerships dedication also extends through the Subaru Share the Love® Event, where Subaru and Napletons Schaumburg Subaru collectively raised over $29,000 in 2024and are poised to surpass that impact in 2025 with the Violet Foundation as their Hometown Charity. Through their generosity, our students and staff received school supplies and books, tools that do far more than fill classrooms. Schaumburg Subaru Deepens Commitment to Local Workforce Development - Don M
Napletons Schaumburg Subaru continues to champion vocational education through its ongoing support of Township High School District 211s Applied Technology programs. In partnership with the Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates and Schaumburg AM Rotary Clubs, Operation Toolkit initiative, the dealership is helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world labor market needs, which is empowering students to pursue careers in the skilled trades. Operation Toolkit was launched, four years ago, to annually provide 20-25 aspiring mechanics with starter-level toolkits, a critical resource for entering vocational schools, union apprenticeships, or to direct employment in auto dealerships. Thanks to the generosity of Schaumburg Subaru and Chris Napleton, seven toolkits have been donated over the past three yearseach one a launchpad for a students future in automotive technology. Local high schools, including Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, and Conant, work closely with Rotary and industry partners to identify deserving seniors who have demonstrated commitment to earning their automotive certificates and ASE certifications. These students must complete a rigorous application process and secure placement within a sanctioned Certificate Training Program, a dealership or shop before receiving their toolkit. The impact has been transformative. Since the programs inception four years ago, Hoffman Estates High Schools Autos Program has seen a surge in enrollment, engagement, and enthusiasm. A toolkit displayed at the front of the classroom serves as a daily motivator, inspiring students to stay focused and strive for excellence. Teachers report that younger students are now approaching them in hallways, eager to learn how they can join the program. Schaumburg Subarus involvement goes beyond donationsits a model of how local employers can collaborate with educators to shape the future workforce. By sharing insights into labor needs and offering mentorship and employment opportunities, theyre helping students achieve living-wage careers while strengthening the regions skilled labor pipeline. The Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates and Schaumburg AM Rotary Clubs are proud to celebrate this partnership and the lasting impact it continues to make. The energy in the program is contagious, and the results speak for themselves: more engaged students, stronger community ties, and a brighter future for all.
Subaru Loves To Care Delivery - Kristin V
One June 16th, the Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru Team delivered blankets to Ascension St. Alexius Medical Center. These blankets will be provided to blood cancer patients throughout the year to keep them warm, and provide them a sense of comfort, during treatment. Thanks to Subaru's outstanding partnership with us at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, patients in our community are able to feel supported and cared for. A huge thank you to Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru for taking the time to give back to their community - they are helping bring light to the darkness of cancer!

We are so grateful to Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru for hosting PAWS Chicago for another adoption event. By hosting our animals and volunteers Napleton is helping to spread awareness about shelter pets and PAWS Chicago's work in the community through our adoption, foster and medical programs. The event served not only as a meet and greet for deserving pets but also helped us to recruit new potential volunteers and fosters. Events like this are essential to PAWS Chicago's continued progress in our mission, we are so happy to have Napleton as a partner!

At Chicago Collegiate Charter School, we believe in the power of exposure, opportunity, and unwavering support. This year, we were once again reminded of that power thanks to Napleton Schaumburg Subarus Valedictorian Sponsorship of our annual Beyond the Halls benefit event. Your generosity lit a path our students are now proudly walking toward college and beyond. Imagine having to go without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Schaumburg, this can be a harsh reality. Helping others is the key to a strong community which is why Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru believes in helping to support individuals and families in urgent need. This season, for our Subaru Loves to Help® initiative, we are partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other historical Subaru Loves to Help efforts, Subaru and retailers like us will have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need so far. On 1/13/25, Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru partnered with JOURNEYS | The Road Home and donated 120 coats to children in urgent need. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a childs mental and emotional well-being.
2024 Violet Foundation Fundraising Events - Jessica H
During May and October 2024, Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru raised funds to support the Violet Foundation for Pediatric Brain Cancer. For every vehicle sold and every oil changed performed in those two months, the store donated to the foundation, whose mission is to save the lives of children diagnosed with brain tumors. Between May and October's fundraising events, the store generated $24,122 in donations that directly support research for pediatric brain cancer and help local families who have a child with a diagnosis.

Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru hosted PAWS Chicago on October 5 for another fantastic adoption event! It was so fantastic to see so many community members come out to the dealership to learn more about PAWS Chicago and potentially adopt a new family member. We are grateful to the Napleton team for all of their time and effort making this event even more successful than our first! The entire Napleton team cares for animals and because of this we have formed a strong partnership and have already begun planning for 2025!!

PAWS Chicago is extremely grateful to our friends at Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru for hosting nine adoptable PAWS pets for our first partner adoption event! By hosting PAWS, Napletons Schaumburg Subaru allowed us the opportunity to meet potential new adopters, fosters and volunteers which is crucial to our lifesaving mission. The team at Napletons has already gone above and beyond to promote PAWS Chicagos work in the community as well as the adoption event, we are so excited to host a second event in October and to continue this important partnership for years to come.
Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru helps through participation in the Happy Howlidays Giving Tree program - Greg M
Napletons Schaumburg Subaru once again stepped up to help support Anderson Humane and our mission this holiday season. Through their participation in our Happy Howlidays Giving Tree program, they helped raise money and collect crucial items to support our mission to save animals and find them their forever home. The tree was placed in the showroom and decorated by the staff. Customers were able to select an item or donation amount by simply taking an ornament from the tree. All of the items and financial support went to Anderson Humane. With the support of Chris Napleton, the staff and all of the customers of Napletons Schaumburg Subaru, we are able to continue our mission and find loving homes for deserving animals. Napleton's Schaumburg Ratchets Up Support for Area Vocational Schools - Chris N
Rotary International started a program to help support local students looking for upward career paths, calling it Operation Tool Kit. The goal of the drive is to help end the cycle of poverty by giving 25 aspiring mechanics a starter level tool set that would be required for admission to vocational schools and/or union internships. Without the support of retailers like Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru, these students would lack the necessary means to pursue their desired career path and might otherwise be forced to settle for a less fulfilling career trajectory. Local schools such as Hoffman Estates High School, Schaumburg High School and Conant High School assist with identifying worthy, qualified candidates and in turn these recipients are often later employed within the contributing dealerships. Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru improves the economic health of the community, the income earning ability of the recipients and helps maximize the prospects for the students within their chosen field. We greatly appreciate Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru's generous donation of the cost of two of these toolkits and look forward to our continued partnership!

In October, Napletons Schaumburg Subaru held an event in the showroom and service department to raise funds for the Violet Foundation for Pediatric Brain Cancer. For every car sold and for every car serviced, on behalf of our customers, a donation was made to the Violet Foundation. The Violet Foundation helps to fund research for pediatric brain cancer treatments and also helps support individual families in the Chicagoland area. This October, in collaboration with our wonderful sales and service customers, the portion from sales and service was over $11,500 contributed to the fund.
Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru and Journey's Bid for Hope - Suzanne P
Support from our community partners is life changing for many. Napleton Subaru of Schaumburg sponsored JOURNEYS 27th Annual Bid for HOPE at the Premier Benefactor level, at a $3,000 donation. This kind of support directly affects people like Sophia: Sophia came to JOURNEYS in early 2021 with her three kids, fleeing domestic abuse. Her abuser knew where she lived, but luckily, JOURNEYS was able to keep her safe from them. Because we wanted to always keep her family together, we set the four of them up in our hotel program. After patiently waiting in their hotel room, Sophia was finally referred to an apartment that met her and her three kids needs. Today, they are happily living in that apartment, and not utilizing JOURNEYS services. Thanks to the efforts of JOURNEYS staff members, Sophia was able to flee domestic violence and protect her kids from harm. Housing insecurity comes in many forms, and sometimes, all you need is a little support. Napletons sponsorship of our 27th annual Bid for HOPE is only the most recent example of their generosity and support for JOURNEYS. We cannot express our appreciation enough and are eager to continue our partnership into the future!

Every October, Napleton Schaumburg Subaru has helped Anderson Humane find homes for our rescues. 2023 was no exception! This year, with their help and support, we were able to place more than thirty-one pets in loving homes. Through financial donations, they help prepare our adoptables by covering the costs to transport, provide medical care, spay and neuter, and microchip the animals within our care. Without this backing, we wouldn't have been able to home over 3,500 domestic animals in 2023! Thank you Chris Napleton and the entire team for being there for us and our furry friends!
Subaru Loves to Care® Delivery - Joie B
I am a Community Outreach Volunteer Intern this summer with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society® and on June 26th I assisted in a Subaru Loves to Care® delivery at the Advocate Lutheran General Hospital Cancer Survivorship Center. I was kindly greeted by a member of the hospital staff, Samantha Daniel, who was extremely helpful and resourceful throughout the entire delivery. Once the Subaru employees arrived, we all introduced ourselves, brought all of the boxes with blankets and patient care kits into the hospital, and then took some photos all together. There were several Subaru employees assisting with this delivery who made the process run smoothly and helped out whenever needed. These individuals made the delivery possible, and I am grateful to have had the chance to meet and work alongside them. It is obvious to me that the Subaru Chicago Zone and the Subaru Central Region Offices are making a significant impact on their community. After we completed the delivery, the doctor turned to the LLS and Subaru staff and said "You have no idea what this means to our patients. Many patients talk about these blankets and wear them to treatment. Receiving these blankets inspires patients to help future patients, many have even spent time during their treatment knitting blankets for future patients. This was beyond rewarding and heartwarming to hear, and we were so glad that these deliveries are making such a difference in the lives of patients. I hope to continue attending Subaru Loves to Care deliveries in the future and spreading more joy to patients!

Napleton s Schaumburg Subaru Loves Event Story from Anderson Humane Napletons Schaumburg Subaru has been a wonderful supporter of Anderson Humane (aka Anderson Animal Shelter) for the past few years, and this year during the October Subaru Loves Pets month, with their generous financial support, we were able to find homes for thirty-one (31) animals. This year with their help we will reach a record number of adoptions in the organizations history; 4,200! With the support of Chris Napleton and Napletons Schaumburg Subaru, we were able to continue our mission and find loving homes for deserving animals.

Chicago Collegiate's First Annual Golf Outing - Madeline S
This year, we held our first-ever Golf Outing to support our organization! Our friends at Subaru generously donated to the event and sent a foursome. Thanks in part to their support, we exceeded our fundraising goal for the event and raised over $110,000 essential funds for our organization in total. Event attendees had a great day golfing, having dinner and drinks, and meeting our numerous scholars who were in attendance. We also had some of our alumni attend to share their stories and the impact of our organization on their lives. Overall, it was a great day, and we are sincerely so grateful for Subaru's participation and support! We hope to see everyone out again next year for another great golf event.

On Tuesday, July 23rd, the Illinois chapter of LLS and Napleton Schaumburg Subaru had the pleasure of delivering 80 blankets and craft kits to Amita Health Alexian Brothers Medical Center as part of the Subaru Loves To Care program. These comforting gifts were accompanied by personalized messages of hope written by the customers and staff of Napleton Schaumburg Subaru.Chris Napleton, General Manager of Napleton Schaumburg Subaru personally delivered all the gifts to the hospital. It was the fourth year of the LLS-Subaru partnership.The incredible act of generosity was warmly received by the nursing staff who were excited to distribute these comforting gifts to their patients. LLS is proud to partner with Subaru to spread hope, love and warmth to those fighting cancer, across the country and right here in the Elk Grove Village, Illinois community. Subaru Loves to Care, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, healthcare partners, and LLS volunteers are truly bringing light to the darkness of cancer. On July 24 we had the opportunity to visit Amita Health Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. The visit was extra special because we were able to meet with patients, offer words of encouragement, and deliver cozy Subaru blankets to keep the patients warm during treatment. We know that fighting cancer is often difficult and overwhelming, but we also know that showing compassion and love can relieve those burdens. This visit was a true statement about the love and compassion that is out in the world. Not only did we have the Subaru team and hospital team on hand to support the blanket deliveries, but we also had LLS volunteers, Maura & Teagan. What makes Maura and Teagan so special - they have fought cancer and now volunteer to support LLS and patients. Teagan was diagnosed at a young age and Maura is her mother. They are a true testament to the statement "Never Give Up!" Chris Napleton and Teagan visited with the many patients, shared stories, and delivered blankets with messages of hope. Teagan supplied that hope in person. As a survivor and thriver, she allowed the patients to see there is hope for getting through treatment and great things are possible for the future. The patients and families were truly touched by the generosity of Subaru! They laughed, they cried, and they were overcome with joy! One patient exclaimed, "you made my day". Subaru truly does care!
