Advanced safety features include a Blind-Spot Monitor with visual alerts, Front Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Parking Support Brake to prevent collisions.
DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System and Front Cross-Traffic Alert: Working with EyeSight® Driver Assist Technologies, the new 2024 DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System acts like an attentive co-pilot to alert drivers if they become distracted or drowsy. This system enhances other safety features and increases passenger safety. If the steering-column-mounted camera detects an issue, it alerts the driver. DriverFocus works with systems like the Emergency Driving Stop System to intervene earlier. The 2024 Front Cross-Traffic Alert also monitors traffic from both sides and alerts drivers to approaching, potentially unseen vehicles.
